I agree with all of that. There are some very odd things happening in the background and being done quietly with regard to some of the women who have been affected. These are women who were not in the 221+ patient group, and who clearly should have been. On the back of the RCOG review, they are quietly being invited in. It is the kind of information that might get missed in a session only with officials. It is essential that we have the patient voice in the room. It may be at a separate session on the same day, or perhaps prior to of the session with the officials. It is essential that we hear from the women themselves. It is about the 221+ group but the RCOG review was for an additional group of women. They do not have a formal representative group but we might do a bit of thinking about how we can make sure their voices are heard here too.
