This is a useful document, particularly in the context of the fact that local authorities throughout the country are compiling their budgets and it is a notable part of local government funding. Last week, I raised this issue and the issue of rates income foregone. Following that, I asked a parliamentary question on the amounts paid by the Department to local authorities over the past five years. The Department came back to me and helpfully pointed out the Comptroller and Auditor General publishes a report on central government funding, that the most recent report was in 2018 and provided a link.
