The Senator spoke about local authority homes. The way we approach it is that there is an issue regarding the implications of the carbon tax for these individuals. This is why the Department with responsibility for housing has a programme to retrofit local authority homes. The scale of the challenge is big and at this stage approximately 70,000 homes have been completed under the programme. This year, it has provided for approximately €25 million.
