I noted the position outlined by the director general to the Committee of Public Accounts. It is our intention to progress the capital plan as much as we can as quickly as possible. It is actively being finalised and we are working on the basis of the allocation available to us. We have the assistance of the summer economic statement recently published by the Minister for Finance and Public Expenditure and Reform, Deputy Donohoe, which provides an expenditure reserve to cover the significant additional spending required in two major areas, namely, the national children's hospital and the national broadband plan.
