I have a number of specific questions. The first one concerns the existing number of clinics. I will put my cards on the table. This policy and announcement sound like further privatisation of the service, which is contrary to what is recommended in the Sláintecare report, which places heavy emphasis on public provision. That is the perspective from which I am approaching this.

What is the number of HSE dental clinics currently in existence? Under the new model, how many of those will be closed, or will they remain open but will do different work? What will the HSE clinics look like under the new model? Essentially, how many of them are there and what will happen to them?
