We are only going on the information of the implementation body and its proposed deadlines. It proposes that the terms of the new legislation will be effective from 1 January 2021. Clearly, there will be transition issues for ourselves and various other agencies, including An Garda Síochána, but it would appear 1 January 2021 is D-day, the start day, for a new organisation as we sit here today.
