If we go back to earlier conversations in this room we spoke about rebuilding confidence in the programme. We want people to know the screening service is available, that they can access it and will be called to screening when it is their turn to be screened. Stopping the programme would be a very difficult decision and not one we would want to take if we were to restore confidence in this programme for women.
