My second last question relates to the establishment of facts when dealing with an allegation that might be made, be it in respect of a den, an overnight trip or another activity. Tusla has made a significant observation and contribution on the subject of interviewing or the verification of what constitutes an interview and what is simply establishing facts in order to make progress on an issue and take it seriously. I am not a trained safeguarding expert by any manner or means but I am trying to understand how Tusla could make an observation that is so significant to what might be deemed best practice in the context of verifying facts about an allegation. I clearly do not mean an incident involving an adult and child but an incident involving two children. How is that verified if not through an interview?
