I have tried to avoid uttering this line all day, but I was not there at the time. Therefore, I cannot answer that question. I cannot put myself in the mindset of the individuals who were there at the time and the pressures they were under. The document will help the Senator to some extent. These matters were ventilated at length during the course of examination and cross-examination. I do not imagine for one moment that the Senator wants to read all of the transcripts, but if he ever chooses to do so, it is laid out at length. In fairness, senior counsel for the defence did so forensically. As I said, I cannot put myself in the minds of others.
