Lyme Disease: Discussion

9:00 am

Professor Karina Butler:

As we were saying, if patients present with early symptoms they do not even need to have a test. If it is characteristic, they should get their antibiotic treatment at that time. If it is at a later stage and they think the symptoms are related to Lyme disease, yes, a test can be done. There is no problem with that.
