In accordance with Standing Order 90, the following message will be sent to the Dáil:

The Joint Committee on Justice and Equality has completed its consideration of the following:Proposal for a Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down rules facilitating the use of financial and other information for the prevention, detection, investigation or prosecution of certain criminal offences and repealing Council Decision 2000/642/JHA,a copy of which was laid before Dáil Éireann on 19 June 2018.

In accordance with Standing Order 75, the following message will be sent to the Seanad:

The Joint Committee on Justice and Equality has completed its consideration of the following:Proposal for a Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down rules facilitating the use of financial and other information for the prevention, detection, investigation or prosecution of certain criminal offences and repealing Council Decision 2000/642/JHA,a copy of which was laid before Seanad Éireann on 19 June 2018.

We must now break for 15 minutes before meeting in select committee for Committee Stage of the Criminal Justice (Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing) (Amendment) Bill 2018. If members are quick, they will get a coffee.

The joint committee adjourned at 9.55 a.m. until 9 a.m. on Wednesday, 27 June 2018.
