The ODCE examine all reports from liquidators. On that basis, it decides whether a liquidator has to seek a restriction order. However, the ODCE must examine all the liquidators reports. In 2017, 91 company directors were restricted via undertakings they gave to the ODCE. They did not have to go to court for those, the undertakings were just given.
