The select committee is adjourned.

I did not yet get the chance to tell members that we have a difficulty in respect of the Minister's attendance at the next select committee meeting, which is to take place on Wednesday, 16 May, to deal with the Parental Leave (Amendment) Bill 2017 from the Social Democrats. We will not ask members to attend at 9 a.m. on that date. Deputy Clare Daly can sleep in that morning. However, we will address this short Bill as a single item at 4.45 p.m. that afternoon. I hope the time works for members, the Minister and Deputies Róisín Shortall and Catherine Murphy, who are the proposers.

The joint committee will meet at 9 a.m. next Wednesday, 9 May, in the normal way of our business. The following Wednesday, 16 May, the select committee will meet at 4.45 p.m.

What is the joint committee dealing with next week?

We have the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission and the Refugee Council. I thought the late start on 16 May would be great news for the Deputies.

The select committee adjourned at 6.10 p.m. until 4.45 p.m. on Wednesday, 16 May 2018.
