No. It is not possible to shut down 450 websites quickly. The first thing that would have happened was that the identity would have been rolled out and people would not have been developing new websites. They would have been migrating to gov.ieover time. It is a very long process to migrate 450 websites. We never got to the point where we decided how many we would have. I still think the Government should not have a multiplicity of websites.
