One question is what are the fundamental differences between the situation here in Ireland and the situation 60 miles up the road in Northern Ireland. The fundamental difference is that in the United Kingdom, chiropractors are permitted to take and read X-rays. They are permitted to operate X-ray units in their clinics, as well as to refer patients to other facilities for diagnostic imaging. They are entitled to do both of those things and they do so.
