Members will have noticed that for some reason in the past two years we have not had a Vice Chairman. Perhaps it was because I did not bother to arrange for the position to be filled. In all fairness, it is time for us to have a Vice Chairman. As I missed my first meeting last week, after two years I have decided after that it is time to have a Vice Chairman. Is it agreed that we should proceed to elect a Vice Chairman?

I concur. As the Senator said, Deputy Tom Neville is very good at attending meetings. He has always been very co-operative and shown a great interest in the committee. I congratulate him on his nomination as Vice Chairman of the Joint Committee on Business, Enterprise and Innovation.
