The first table in programme C shows a deficit of €240 million this year over last year. Is it the case that the local authorities are getting this funding in some other way or is it that there were services that were being funded with the €240 million last year that are no longer being provided? If this €240 million is not a cut in funding to local government services, how is it accounted for, or is it a cut?
