I thank the Commissioner for his response. Just as he was frank in informing us what the Netherlands and Denmark want in various areas, I hope he will, in the other eight countries he must still visit and throughout the negotiations, reiterate the points he hears in Ireland. New measures require new money and the Common Agricultural Policy is extremely important. Food security and sustainability are a key element of the CAP and that must not be lost in the discussions.
