I will capture what has been said by Deputy Bernard J. Durkan, Ms Mairead McGuinness and others who are telling us that it is not a fudge, that it will be put into law and that the Irish Government will stand over the cast iron guarantees given in December, but I will also remind the committee that historically the British Government has a track record on reneging on every agreement it ever signed.
