The next item is the scrutiny of EU legislative proposals. On schedule A, COM (2017) 645 is a proposal for a Council regulation fixing for 2018 the fishing opportunities for certain fish stocks and groups of fish stocks, applicable in Union waters and, for Union fishing vessels, in certain non-Union waters. It is proposed that this proposal does not warrant further scrutiny. Is that agreed? Agreed.

COM (2017) 692 is a proposal for a Council regulation amending EU Regulation No. 1370/2013 determining measures on fixing certain aids and refunds relating to the common organisation of the markets in agricultural products as regards the quantitative limitation for buying-in skimmed milk powder. It is proposed that this proposal warrants further scrutiny and I propose to invite the relevant officials before the committee at the earliest opportunity. Is that agreed? Agreed.

COM (2017) 742 is a proposal for a directive of the European Parliament and of the Council amending Council Directive 92/66/EEC introducing community measures for the control of Newcastle disease. It is proposed that this proposal does not warrant further scrutiny. Is that agreed? Agreed.

It is proposed that the proposals listed in schedule B, namely, COM (2017) 641, COM (2017) 643 and COM (2017) 672, do not warrant further scrutiny. Is that agreed? Agreed.

I propose that we now call in the witnesses before the committee.
