Cybersecurity for Children and Young Adults: Discussion (Resumed)

We support the Diana Award in the provision of its anti-bullying ambassador programme here. In recent years, it has trained over 1,500 students in 200 schools all over the island of Ireland. Ms de Bailliencourt mentioned that peer-to-peer programmes, which we support, work best in this area, as indicated by most relevant research. We do much work with many local organisations such as the company responsible for the SpunOut.iewebsite, with which we have partnered on the creation of a resource called "Think before you share". We provide most of the input for that. We have partnered with those behind the Webwise.iewebsite on initiatives such as safer Internet day. The focus for 2017 was on parents and resources were created directed at helping them. We have also created a parents' portal. We partner with Webwise because it is better placed to directly liaise with educators because of its remit under the Department of Education and Skills. We work very closely with such organisations and sometimes the type of support we can give is------
