We are back public session. At the request of the broadcasting and recording services, members and visitors in the public Gallery are requested to ensure that their mobile phones are turned off completely or switched to aeroplane, safe or flight mode for the duration of the meeting. It is not sufficient to switch them to silent as this will maintain a level of interference with the broadcasting system.

Before we move to our main business, we will record our decision on No. 6 on the agenda, scrutiny of EU proposal COM (2017) 603, proposal for a Council decision on the position to be adopted, on behalf of the European Union, at the 20th ordinary meeting of the contracting parties to the convention for the protection of the marine environment and the coastal region of the Mediterranean. On the proposal to amend Annex II to the protocol concerning specially-protected areas and biological diversity in Mediterranean, it is proposed that this proposal does not require further scrutiny. Is that agreed? Agreed.
