As we have a quorum, we will begin in public session. Apologies have been received from Senators Landy, Ó Donnghaile and Craughwell and Deputy Sean Sherlock. I welcome everyone back after the recess. I know we have been back a few weeks now. Today, we will begin the first of our meetings regarding the legacy issues we have discussed on a number of occasions. We will invite a wide variety of cross-community stakeholders to appear before us in the coming weeks as we consider this matter. Today, we will hear from representatives from the Pat Finucane Centre, Justice for the Forgotten and Relatives for Justice. We will now go into private session to deal with some housekeeping issues.

The joint committee went into private session at 2.05 p.m. and resumed in public session at 2.20 p.m.
