I welcome members. We are all looking well after the summer break. Apologies have been received from Deputy Thomas Pringle. Before I begin, I remind members to make sure all mobile phones are turned off.

Members will be aware that Deputy Marcella Corcoran Kennedy has been appointed to the committee. On behalf of the committee I welcome Deputy Corcoran Kennedy and I look forward to working with her in the future.

I understand that the relevant correspondence for this meeting has been circulated. I thank our former member, Deputy Michael D'Arcy, for his work on the committee and I wish him well in his new post.

I propose to go into private session to deal with some housekeeping matters. Is that agreed? Agreed.
