I welcome all of you to the committee. This morning we will hear from the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs, Deputy Zappone, and officials from the Department of Children and Youth Affairs on the affordable child care scheme and issues arising in foster care services in Ireland. I propose that we go into private session to deal with some housekeeping matters.
