The Senator raised the important issue of having a discrete section in the Bill on children's rights. In advance of this meeting I spent a great deal of time reading through the Bill to try to distil issues pertinent to children and that would be helpful in terms of bundling the children's rights issues together so we do not lose sight of them. It is about the visibility of children's rights issues in the legislation and the Senator's suggestion is very good. It is worthy of consideration.
