The Deputy may be able to correct me but I do not think this would be a protected category under which an unfair dismissal action could be grounded unless someone was artificially to turn it into a protected disclosure by taking the concern to the Data Protection Commissioner and then saying he or she was being penalised on the basis of a protected disclosure.
