I move amendment No. 50:

In page 106, between lines 14 and 15, to insert the following:“Prohibition on primary mercury mining

228.A person who carries out primary mercury mining commits an offence and is liable—

(a) on summary conviction to a class A fine, or

(b) on conviction on indictment to a fine not exceeding €250,000.”.
