At the request of the broadcasting and recording services, members are requested to ensure that for the duration of the meeting their mobile phones are turned off completely or, depending on the device used, switched to airplane, safe or flight mode, as they interfere with the broadcasting of proceedings. It is not sufficient for members to leave their phones in silent mode as that will maintain a level of interference with the broadcasting system.

Apologies have been received from Senator Grace O'Sullivan, who will be substituted by Senator Colette Kelleher. No further apologies were received. With the agreement of members, we will go into private session to deal first with some small housekeeping matters. Is that agreed? Agreed.
