The transmission infrastructure should be publicly owned. We want connectors, but I am nervous around that going down a private route. We saw what happened in the midlands project where we lost our public support. I think that the Commission and others believe that major transmission infrastructure such as that should be publicly owned as it gives us control and flexibility. It can be built by a private developer but it should be publicly owned.
