We are in public session to discuss EU legislative proposals. Schedule A, COM (2016) 750, is a proposal for the regulation, of the European Parliament and the Council, of the definition and presentation of the labelling of spirit drinks, the use and names of spirit drinks and the presentation and labelling of other foodstuffs and the protection of geographical indications for spirit drinks. Is it agreed that the report in the form of a political contribution be formally communicated to the European Commission, European Parliament and Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine? Agreed.

Schedule B, COM (2016) 781, is a proposal for a Council regulation on the fixing for 2017 of the fishing opportunities for certain fishing stock and groups of fish stock in the Black Sea. It is proposed that the proposal does not warrant further scrutiny. Is that agreed? Agreed.
