Yes. I am cognisant that the meeting is in public session. I do not want to take away from the challenges that have been highlighted but every country has infrastructural challenges. I want this committee to convey the message that we are open for business and would welcome foreign direct investors. We must compete with other jurisdictions for investors.
We have seen this over the past six to eight months with the number of job announcements and new companies coming in. We have the wherewithal to accept these companies and bring them in. I want that message to go out collectively from the committee. It is in the country's best interest and in the best interests of all of us that if these companies are considering relocating, they relocate to Ireland.
