To comment on several points, the chamber network has consistently called for a broadening of the tax base. We supported the introduction of the property tax in some form. We have also called for the proper introduction of water charges in order that we pay across the board for the infrastructure we actually use. On the fiscal rules, there is an opportunity to borrow at historically low interest rates to fund some infrastructure, but clearly this must form part of the negotiations, for example, with the European Union on how we can get through this.

I did not come prepared to answer questions on the issue of precarious work, but Mr. Dan O'Brien had a piece on it in recent days which I am sure committee members have seen. It called into question-----
