There was a paper to the board on 8 January 2014. In December the board asked for a proposal from the asset recovery unit for a competition that would be limited and targeted. The proposal that came back to the board was that they would immediately appoint loan sale advisers, that the loan sale advisers would look for a minimum of two other large investment firms that might be interested in the properties and invite them to look at the portfolio and to mount a bid, and that the process would be completed by 31 January 2014.
