Apologies have been received from Deputy Ruth Coppinger. I have been notified that Deputy Mick Barry will deputise for her. I welcome members to the first meeting of the committee this morning. At the request of the broadcasting and recording services members are requested to ensure that for the duration of the meeting their mobile phones are turned off completely or switched to airplane mode, safe mode or flight mode, depending on their device. It is not sufficient for members to just put their phones on silent mode as that maintains a level of interference with the broadcasting system.

In accordance with standard procedures agreed by the Committee on Procedures and Privilege for paperless committees, all documentation for the meeting has been circulated to members on the document database. Is it agreed by the members present that we will go into private session to deal with the business of the agenda? Agreed.
