As we now have a quorum, I call the meeting to order. Apologies have been received from Deputy McConalogue and Senator Moloney. At the request of the broadcasting and recording services, members are asked to ensure that, for the duration of the meeting, their mobile phones are turned off completely or left on aeroplane, safe or flight mode so they will not interfere with the broadcasting system. In line with the ruling of the Committee on Procedure and Privileges on paperless committees, all the documentation for the meeting has been circulated on the online document database.
