We are now in public session to discuss the scrutiny proposals before the committee today. The first proposal is Schedule A, COM (2005) 559. It is a proposal for a Council regulation fixing for 2016 the fishing opportunities for certain fish stocks and groups of fish stocks, applicable in European Union waters and for European Union vessels in certain non-European Union waters. It is proposed that the proposal warrants further scrutiny. Is that agreed? Agreed. I shall suspend the meeting for a minute or two to allow witnesses take their seats. There are two groups due in for two sessions.
