Did you get any news since yesterday, Chairman, on the request for the committee to go to Egypt?

That is something we will discuss. It is on the agenda. If Senator Daly does not mind waiting, we will just proceed through the minutes first. Is there anything else?

No, it is not from the Egyptians but we will discuss the matter in conjunction with the proposed visit. If it is okay, we will discuss the matters together as they are related.

No, I do not have an update but we will discuss the matter later. If there are no matters arising from the minutes we will proceed with the main business of the meeting.
I invite the witnesses to come in. We are meeting in public session with Colm O’Gorman of Amnesty International to discuss the annual report of Amnesty concerning human rights issues globally. Mr. O’Gorman is accompanied by Ashling Seely.
