We will begin by dealing with the EU scrutiny proposals before us. Schedule B comprises COM (2015) 121, COM (2015) 167, COM (2015) 174 and COM (2015) 180. It is proposed that the proposals in Schedule B do not warrant further scrutiny. Is that agreed? Agreed.

Under Schedule A, COM (2015) 177, is a proposal for a regulation of the European Parliament and the Council amending regulation EC 1829/2003 regarding the possibility for member states to restrict or prohibit the use of genetically modified food and feed in their territory. It is proposed that this proposal warrants further scrutiny by way of inviting relevant officials from the Department of Agriculture, Food and Marine to appear before the committee to discuss the matter. Is that agreed? Agreed.
