Is the Cork Business Association or Cork Chamber of Commerce in dialogue with the representative body of the insurance industry on the issues facing the city? Mr. Owens cited a statement in which the insurance industry indicates it may not reinstate cover if it is not satisfied with the nature of the flood defences. Is the industry saying anything publicly or privately to the Cork Business Association or its members?
