In the preliminary exercise carried out earlier this year, we found that 91% of policies in areas benefiting from fixed flood defences included flood cover. As Mr. Thompson has said, we are still only in the middle of the cycle and we will know more at the end of June, but from our perspective the memorandum of understanding is working and it certainly is not in insurers' interests for it not to work.
