There has been a change again. The Department of Finance is a completely different place. They have got a load of economists who are doing interesting work and they are publishing it. It is in the public domain in articles in The Economic and Social Review.I have worked with them on a number of things. It is fun, they are encouraged to think outside the box. It is a very different world. I enjoyed working in the Department in the 12 years I was there. There was a team of very good economists and we were encouraged to disagree and so I think we have seen a cultural change back to a Department of Finance which I think is doing a good job.
