I thank Professor Kane for joining us today. Let us consider his opening statement, the paper he provided to us and some of his work. Much of it is directed towards how we incentivise banks to take less risk or how to reduce the public's exposure to the risks they take. In the US is there such a concept as public interest directors on the boards of banks?
