From what Professor Kane knows of the Irish situation, and he referred earlier to Anglo Irish Bank, which was nationalised on the backs of the Irish taxpayer, in terms of structures, what could have been done to save the Irish taxpayer money and how early should it have been done in terms of knowing when a bank is insolvent?
