The institute supports having social care providers who deliver home care or who use a palliative care approach in hospitals in order that all the care is not necessarily delivered by specialist hospice-based services. We look to support them in the development of their practice and via educating the professionals who do the visits and to use that approach to meet people's physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs as part of the care.
