I am pleased to say that in the past two years, the value and volume of the fishing industry has been growing. People talk about the demise of the fishing industry. However, we are catching more fish which have significantly more value than ever before. I do not know if it seems like that because everybody want to get more quota. That is actually true. The statistics are as follows. Landing into Ireland increased from 246,000 tonnes in 2010 to 280,000 tonnes in 2013.
