A theoretical calculation could be made whereby the difference between the current performance and the ideal performance is multiplied by these monetary numbers. It is a significant amount. Comparing 2010 with 2013, bed day savings amounted to 66,160, representing a marginal cost saving of approximately €12.5 million. They are appreciable savings.
