To explain the position on electricity prices, a report was released in Europe last week which stated that our wholesale prices are the highest in Europe, but they are only one component of the total electricity price. If we compare the total price against other nations we find we are at the euro area average, which is higher than the total. Therefore, we are slightly higher than the overall average across Europe, but not the euro area if we compare ourselves with other nations using the same currency. There are three elements to that.
