The meeting has been convened for the purpose of consideration by the committee of the Friendly Societies and Industrial and Provident Societies (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill 2013, which was referred to the select committee by order of the Dáil on 26 June 2014. I welcome the Minister of State at the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Deputy Sean Sherlock, and his officials. There are no amendments so we will consider the Bill until we conclude Committee Stage.
