I was struck by Mr. Goulding's statement that he first shook a collection box for CRC at the age of 15 on the streets of various towns around Ireland. The Friends and Supporters of the Central Remedial Clinic raise approximately €1.4 million per annum through the Care Trust. This money is raised through the sale of tickets countrywide. The people who purchase the tickets expect that the money will be used for services for people on the ground.
